Enrolment deadlines
Enrolment deadlines can be found on the website under ‘Dates and Deadlines’ (see ‘Enrolment’).
Required documents
- A fully completed and signed enrolment form (which will be sent by email following admission)
- A scan of the personal details from your passport or the front and back of your identity card, on which the following information must be clearly legible: surname, first name(s), date of birth, place of birth, nationality. All other information on the documents may be redacted for data protection reasons,
- Proof of insurance for study purposes from a German health insurance provider or one recognised in Germany (see sample in the appendix)
- A scan of your letter of admission
- if you have previously studied in Germany: certificate of enrolment and certificate of withdrawal from the higher education institution you last attended
- Copies of all certificates that you have uploaded to uni-assist
Please note that individuals who are enrolled exclusively on a doctoral programme do not need to submit proof of health insurance.
Certification
The university reserves the right to carry out random checks on documents submitted in digital form and to request that the original document be presented or verified.
